Knowles Barn, thought originally to have been built around 1650, was converted in 2006 to provide a modern 5 bedroom family house which still retains many of its traditional features.

It is set in 10 acres of paddocks and gardens with extensive unspoilt views over Constable country and is a short distance from the Stour Valley and Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are 2 ground floor bedrooms which are disabled friendly.

We are only four miles from the centre of Colchester, England’s oldest recorded town, which offers a wide variety of things to do and places to see.
